69 Roadrunner Turn Signal Problem

69 Roadrunner Turn Signal Problem
The left rear turn signal light and the left turn signal light on the dash stay on when the ignition is on. They both still blink when the turn signal is activated as well as the front left signal light. The right side seems to function normally. Any ideas where I should look for the cause??

This could be a tough one. First thing I'd try is to isolate the problem into "a major area."
First question: Does the dash lamp come on EITHER with key in run or accessory?
Second. Turn on key, go around front and pull the push-on wire off the regulator and the ballast resistor. This will keep the ignition from damage while you are troubleshooting.
Recheck that the dash lamp is on
Remove the left kick panel, and pull the connector on the rear harness. See if the dash lamp is still on
If so, pull the turn signal connector loose under the dash
I'd bet this will kill the dash lamp. If not, you have a short (crossover) within the dash harness somewhere
If pulling the connector kills the dash lamp, hook the connector back up, and probe the connector for power. When you find it, kill the key switch to confirm which conductor the power is coming in on.
Yank out the flasher(s) and see if the problem goes away.
I show a black/ tr going into the switch should show "hot" is the wire leading to the horn button
I don't remember what a '69 has for 4 way hookup? This could be a problem right in the turn switch itself.
I THINK THIS IS RIGHT IN THE SWITCH
There should be no connection at all to the front lamp/ dash lamp----and the rear lamp EXCEPT when the switch is in "turn." This is because WHEN THE SWITCH IS CENTERED the two brake lamp leads are tied together (in the switch) and routed to the brake light switch.
