Extra holes ...

When you have holes for "stuff" that no longer exists in your engine bay, what are some creative ways of camouflaging them? With a few, I've used "dummy bolts" but since my engine bay is pretty sparse now, that might be too much of a good thing.
Thoughts?
Tks

Seals
I have seen seals that would fit small holes and are plated. Hardware stores or maybe Radio Shack may have them. They are like electrical knock out seals. If you have a lot of holes, may not look too good.

A possibility for some of the bigger holes (thanks)

Not sure, seems like more of a pipe or casting plug, this is mostly for sheet metal.
Thanks again guys, I know this isn't a criical thing, but just something I'd like to "clean" up a bit.

Jake, some how I figured you'd nail it! Looks like the kock-out caps (for the bigger holes) + the nylon plugs (for the smaller ones) might make a good temporary fix. At least until I learn to do decent body work ...
Thanks!

thinkin with me dipstick
for small holes, pop rivets do the trick. also home depot has some metal and plastic hole plugs in different styles that can be painted, they just pop in

Just catching up on a few old threads.
For the holes, Grainger has sheet metal plugs in heat resistant black and while nylon (and they are really cheap). I bought a couple of sizes and the holes are all taken care of.
Grainger was the only place I could find them.

If you wanted to weld the holes, place a piece of copper or aluminum behind the hole and then fill it in with weld. The weld won't get hot enough to effect the copper/aluminum and the hole gets filled. Not sure how hard it is to do this on sheet metal but works pretty slick on frames.

Then you have to grind down the welds (I don't have a welder), do the appropriate body work and repaint. The most I had to do here was open a few holes to the correct size for the plugs.
If you look on the firewall to the right of the ignition box and on the right fender wall top, you can see the plugs. I think they look pretty decent.
Next time the engine is out, I might do the body work, but for now, it serve the purpose.
