my chrysler factory service manual 1967 coronet charger. shows that letter 'A' stamped on the 'TOP PAD - FRONT OF ENGINE' means .020 O/S cylinder bores. or it could mean something else. a diamond stamped on same pad means .008" O / S tappets. all so cyl bore std sizes "A" =4.24975",,,,"B" = 4.25025" ,,,,"C" =4.25075",,,,"D" =4.25125",,,,,"E"= 4.25175". this is for piston fit. NOTE: this is for very fine fitting the STDANDARD bore size. very few engines from ANY factory are fitted to such fine increments. the "A" and so on letters may be cast or stamped on the pistons. i have seen a 72 440 with .010 cyl from the factory. and can NOT be bought from chrysler. many of the early hemis i have taken apart had paint letter marking on the pan rail, but i think the fit was not as fine as the 426 hemi listed in 1967 factory manual i have. please note iam NOT a hemi expert.

Wow.... I dont know what the W.T. is ether.... ???????

You might go to Mopar Max online.... E-Mail Steve Maganti and see if he might be able to get you the answer... That guy is a history buff....

However.... If I see or run into Super Stock Hemi Builder Dale Reed I'll As him and report back... I'll also see if Bob Mosher might help????
