Potential Project Car

Hello all!

Now that i'm graduating college soon, and i'll have some more time on on my hands, I would like to embark on finding a project car.

But here's the BIG question, what should i look for. So, i come to you guys for suggestions.

Just to preface this, i am definitely a gear head, but i don't know everything there is to know about fixing up a car/truck. So the car or truck i'm looking for is gonna have to be a half-way easy build. Basically, off the frame restorations is out of the question. lol I don't have the room for that, anyways.

So what do you guys think a good, first project car would be?

Pick Something that catches your eye.... Not by paint or bling stuff... But in Style that you like..... You have lots of good choices there in Hot Rod Indiana USA... Funding will be the next problem. And do it in a labor of love, because cars are a dam money pit. Gearhead you say.....:duck:

Keep us posted... :)

The last decade or more the desirable sport styled HP Chryslers have been bought up held onto or sold for very high prices. When I go to Moparfest I think I'm bored with the rows of E bodies and GTXs, I look at the big '60s luxury cars, '50s, and wagons now, when you hear the stories from the people gathered around they are rich with how the guy up the street or their uncle had one when they were kids. Not everyone could afford or wanted a muscle car, still they got their first speeding ticket or love in the plain old Plymouth.

I'm saying these thing so you don't over look the more available and affordable Chrysler products as they are the new cool to me.

Dan,
I would definitely like to find something different with a story behind it that's just as unique as the car. Thank you :)
And where is Moparfest?

Be sure whatever you choose has aftermarket/restoration support. Oddball stuff will require way more work
