Unhappy Roadrunner Roof Hole

First need to ask if runner is "Factory Hemi or 6 Pack car" ? All Mopars are worth it,but for a lesser valued vehicle the route for repairs would differ. The damage is aparently from a vinyl roof.If you plan to reinstall a vinyl roof,a good, reputable fab shop(with an English Wheel) should be able to fab a repair panel to Mig or Tig into place. If its a factory Hemi or 6 Pack car, do the runner justice,go for a roof replacement. Ive monkeyed with Mopars since early 60's,and if it were mine I'd do a new roof. Good talking to you and Merry Christmas.

its a 1972 340 everythings original even interior is very nice by the way it has a single 4 barrel carb on it but I want to bring in a 440 six pack I am really undecided on how to restore the car I know i am restoring it to show quality none of this bondo stuff that makes the car wave I do have another roof but the roof is bent in the back i thought maybe a patch panel than taking the skin of the spare one to place over the old one but I really dont know I just want it to look good
