Roller Rocker adustment help.....
 

I please need detailed info on how to set my adjustable roller rockers on my Mopar 408 smallblock. thx so much

No Problem Man.... First you must find top dead center... Turn the engine until both rocker arms are loose on cylinder 1. Double check this by making sure your rotor button in the distributator is lined up with plug wire to cyl 1 (This is called checking the rotor phase).Then check the following cylinders:

Ex 4 8 Intake 2 7
Turn the engine 180 degrees.... Then adjust
Ex 3 6 Intake 1 8
Turn the engine 180 degrees.... Then adjust
Ex 5 7 Intake 3 4
Turn the engine 180 degrees..... Then adjust
Ex 1 2 Intake 5 6

You are done.... I bought a remote start button that clips on to the start relay that makes this much easier. After you do this a time or two its not that big a deal. I have a plastic card that I carry in my wallet that has the sequence for the valve adjustment.. Hope this helps.... There is another way to adjust valves by adjusting the intake by the position of the ex and vice versa but this works best for me....
