Spark plug wires

Guys -
Ok, thanks for the help - I think.
I'm using Accel wires for a couple of reasons. First, color isn't an option. I need yellow wires, as the car has been restored to the way it looked in '82, when I first dropped in the big block. In my neck of the woods, if you didn't have "yellow wires" back then you just weren't cool.
Wires don't create HP, all they do is conduct electricity. Once you have enough spark to fully ignite the fuel, any more is marketing hype.
Other problems can rob spark and that therefore hurt performance. Things like arcing and wires with too much resistance (# of ohms) can be problematic, see above, as in "enough" spark to ignite the fuel.
I was interested in specific issues with certain wires, especially if some were more common than others, for example: Years ago I tried 2 set of Moroso Blue Max wires. Despite numerous wire looms and wraps, those things arced on anything that even looked like metal.
I've tried MSD plug boots as I was having header heat issues and they were thicker than the Accel plug boots, so they should be better, right? The Accel boots singed and the MSD cracked over the plug nipple. Wasn't impressed.
That was the kinda stuff I was looking for.

Real simple, I haven't tried everything out there, I gave examples of two that I have tried. The reason for a poll was that, if used, it should represent more than a single responder saying something like "I've used brand X for 25 years and never had a problem", which is great for that guy but may not be representitive of anything more than an isolated case. If it's not used, then it was just a shot.
I said I needed "yellow" wires, Taylor also makes yellow, but I've never used them.
