82 Rampage

I'm trying to get my Rampage back on the road and it has a few problems I could use some advice in solving. First, my oil pressure sending unit looks like a mini spark plug with a rounded end as opposed to a flat prong end like every one I've been able to find. I've been told mine is discontinued. Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find one or how to convert my wireing to accept the three pronged one. Also, my fuel gauge always reads empty even after I fill it up. Fuel sending switch? How do I get to it? Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

Im not to farmilar with the ol rampages but it sounds like your asking for a sending unit and your being shown a switch(sending unit three prong or so and swith only one) hope i didnt misunderstand! Your fuel gauge issue can be checked pretty simple, disconect the level unit at the tank and with a jumper wire, ground the level unit signal wire on the harness side. Make sure the key is on, engine off. have a helper watch the gauge, if it goes to full when you ground the wire, the wireing and gauge are good and the level unit is defective. You will most likely have to drop the tank to get to it. Hope this helps. Good luck!!
