My Dad's GTS

Figure I would start a thread on my Dads GTS... He's owned way more cars then I can count on 5 hands.

R/T Chargers, 4 speed camaros, a VERY RARE 67 Hemi Belverdere that he sold in 1979, that is STILL around town all restored now, ALOT of A-bodies, a 1 of 12 1970 Barracuda convertible (that was my moms car)

Heres his race car he has had for along time. Yes, its a REAL "H" code 68 383 GTS Dart

And here is the 69 Swinger... He bought this car at an auction in the EARLY 90s.. It was built in the 70s as a "fast" street car.. That guy sold it later on, a kid got it, a month later it was in a tow yard up for auction.

All he did was hook up the fuel pump and pour some gas in and it fired up. That motor went into his yellow GTS, and now is in my car.

More pictures to follow.

this was with the motor thats in my car in it. Pump gas motor. Fast time of 11.50

I'm hoping to get some videos of his running the new motor this year. New motor is a $1000 440. Racer friend told him to come pick iot up, it was in his way in his garage. Still needs to be tuned a little. 10.88 @ 122 popping and missing.

AND THIS IS ALL ON A 9" SLICK!

That is one nice Dart your dad has Nick. I love seeing tires wrinkle on full bodied racers like that.

Awesome Darts! That shot of yours and his in the garage is very cool. The ones with the tires wrinkling look like that Dart is trying to dig a hold in the track! The video was cool too, it looked like your old man got a holeshot on that Camaro! Livin' la vida Mopar!!!!
