Anyone know what size ,length and diameter. wheel studs needed for these Welds? New rotors (aftermarket )for 74 a- body Duster came with short 1 inch ,only goes about half way through . The old front rotors were
Like 2 1/2 or 2 3/4 & the Welds fit fine. So I need the longer studs . Can these be replaced . How hard is it to remove & install? Thanks

Order the ARP's From Summit or Jeg's....
I think there like 1/2" DIA.???? and must also go all the way threw the end of the wheel nut by like 1 or 2 threads..

Not sure, IF you are drag racing you need the stud to be long enough to protrude thru the wheel nuts when bolted

wheel studs

I was able to take the old ones out of the origional rotors ,these have been replaced. They are the correct length. 2. 3/4 . They have been put in .
Then was able to remove the 1 inch ones from the new rotors. Now it seems the knurl size is a little bigger than on the new studs. Will have to measure the knurl now for length and diameter.
The best measurement I come up with is , the old long studs 0.625. New studs 0.615. Not much difference but?
I guess tight is good but you can tell the difference when putting the ends of the different studs into the new rotors. Haven't tried to press them in.
Mancinni Racing has some. 1/2. 20x 3". .615 knurl
Hole size .606 to .613. What you think?

Put the new 0.615s. Knurl 1/4x3. in the freezer for a few hrs. Then set them in the holes & turned until I felt the splines line up. Tapped them just to start with wooden hammer handle then used the old washer deal ,tightened them down. Two things you need to measure one the proper knurl then the hole size. Hole size will dictate the knurl. Mine said hole size 0 .606 to 0.613 = 0.615 knurl. Both these measurements are available with quality race studs.

Thanks, Clay City opens in a couple of weeks for testing.
I am just going to leave the shoes in back for now & see how it does.
Still plenty to do as you know! Have to have new rubber all the way around. The new rears we put on last yr. Sadly started to crack some on the side walls. Shame , they were brand new but had been stored in an outside building for about 4 yrs. Fronts show some cracking also. Age not wear.

I know that feeling..... Just take the old ones with you to the track and sell them in your pit area.... Someone can always use them for mock up on some kind of build.

Yes I am starting to collect a few things. It doesn't take
long for stuff to gather. Lol The local track had a swap meet last week but there was a foot of snow, wonder how many outside spaces they sold? Maybe they will reschedule. Nice today 50s. Water everywhere!! Glad I live on a hill, where else is a hillbilly gona live?
