360 4BBL intakes

Hello all,

I have a '74 360 2BBL in a heavy Australian Chrysler. It's a daily driver with 727 and 2.76 gears. I have a 340 Thermoquad and the car has stock cast-iron exhaust manifolds with dual 2.5" pipes to the rear. I need a 4BBL intake and my question is, for my application, does anyone have an opinion regarding Edelbrock Performer Vs Mopar street M1 manifold Vs an old LD340 Vs a factory cast iron piece? Any thoughts or experiences would be welcome.
Kind regards,
Al

I have the edelbrock performer on my 318, Its overkill for my engine, and I get crappy off the line acceleration b/c its only a 318 and not a 360, but the 60-90 acceleration is great, But in the end it is coming off and the two barrel is going back on.

If I were in your case, I would chose the MOPAR product, simply b/c of the engineering and design that goes into its application and performance. They focus on only mopars, etc.

just my $.02

Ya know what to be honest I dont know exactly what model. It is a 650CFM carb and it is an edelbrock, but It was on the car when i bought it 3 years ago. I have been kicking around the idea of selling the intake and carb.

I am going to be building a 360 for my charger, and I was thinking about using that setup for it, but Its going to be so long b4 that engine is ready that I probably wouldnt miss it if the right ammount was offered.

If you are interested I will get the specifics on the carb and intake for you.

Thanks for the offer, but I have a good Thermoquad off a 340, so all I need is a manifold.
