360 magnum timing mark question

I'm stumped on this one.

I have a 360 magnum in my 72 plymouth satellite.
I just changed the cam shaft and I know you line the crank 12 o'clock to the cam gear 6 o'clock and it should be TDC of #6 cylinder.

But, what I am stumped on is the location of the crank timing mark. I have a Chilton book and in the picture the mark is offset to the left of the key way.
But, this double roller timing set from Summit has the crank timing mark on top of the key way and not to the left. If I rotate the crank to where most marks would be, #6 would be at TDC. So I am wondering if I should align to the mark on the crankshaft or rotate the crank until #6 is really at TDC????
The difference is about 3 teeth in the crank gear.

Carburated with electric fuel pump, 3 slot cam gear.

THANKS!!!

I would trust the marks on the timing drive, PERIOD as opposed to a Chilton manual.

You should be able to check it as you put the engine together. There is no reason to rotate the engine after installing the cam, so you should be able to re-install the timing cover and balancer and of course the mark should be very close to TDC. It might not be exact, but very close

Update:

So the crank gear timing mark was wrong. I bought a new one and it had the timing mark just to the left of the key way. Fired right up!!!
