I'm not possitive on this, seeing as I don't know scamps that well, but maybe 2.94 or 3.23?

Hey 318 scamp my 74 swinger has 2.72 in the rear end. there is a tad on one of the cover bolt if you can look...the tag will have the ratio on it...well if it is still there

Geez, just jack up the car!!

I doubt this has a posi, so you'll only need one tire up. Jack one rear up, and support it safely. Get a buddy, or get yourself where you can watch the driveshaft accurately.

Mark the tire, or use the valve stem. If you don't have posi, you can now turn the shaft when in neutral. Turn the shaft once, and the tire will turn "double" the ratio. That is, a 3.23 will turn the tire 6.46 times

If you really want to get "accurate", mark the shaft so you don't get "lost" and turn the shaft TEN turns. Of course now for 3.23, you'll have to turn the tire 64.6 times!!

if you pull the diff cover, it is sometimes printed on the ring gear. you just have to learn which numbers to read.
