750 dual line carb on a 440

trying to put a holley 750 dual line vacuum secondary carb on a stock 69 440 motor what would be the correct spacer /adapter for this combo ,had trouble with distributer hitting crome fuel line any help would be appreciated thanks

I've always just slightly bent the fuel line upward, clear the distributor.

I would go to atleast a 1" spacer if you can clear everything like the hood and all , it will help stir up the fuel better for a little bit more hp and take off

A spacer will work but it kind of depends on what style you get. A 4 hole spacer is better for low end while a single hole is better for mid to top end.

Before you go the spacer route, make sure the hood will close with the increase height. If you do not know how to test this, take pieces of clay and roll it up a bit so there are little towers on top of your air cleaner and close the hood and then measure the ones that got squished and thats how much clearance you have.
