Mancini racing , Campbell's enterprises , jeggs . have all been very good to deal with & all fast shipping half way around the world to my door ;) .

I would agree with all the above mentioned posts, but will add this; it all depends on what you are buying. I like 440 source for the adjustable rockers I put on my engine, but disliked them for their water pump housing that didn't fit because of the air conditioner.

I usually buy from my local parts store because my friend owns it and gives me deals, but summit is usually the next closer online supplier I have found. Another good site I didn't see mentioned is Rock Auto and they have a great organization of the cars they offer parts for, I always use them to cross reference part numbers.

www.nothernautoparts.com

has better pricing/service/shipping than anyone mentioned here, so far.

If you are a business they are even better ..

when ordering from summit, i usually do it over the phone

Commando 04-01-2010 06:43 PM

Deadkelly check out the pictures in my post in the B-Body section, will take a look and see if I can find the number.

cool thats the first time i been in the b body section :D .
mate there not the same rockers as mine .
mine are comp cams stainless steel magnum copy's well i think thats what they are . if not
there a no name stainless steel bushed rocker . i bought them off a bloke in Melbourne Australia . he had a add in parts magazine . i lost his number & he doesn't run his add anymore . all i know his name was bill . and talked abit woggy but they were very cheap $280 aus & that was new shafts & all hold down gear . in 1.5 or 1.6 ratio . he told me there a 440 source rocker ??????? but people will tell ya anything . i have heaps of photo's of me build , but no data cable for my phone , I'll try & get a cable for my phone on Wednesday & post some more pics . if i paid $280 landed @ my door , surely they'd only be $150 -$180 USA . i read of the cheaper roller rockers for street use , try & use a steel bushed type . alloy flex's allot & needle type bearings chew the hardness off the shafts & ones with roller bearings tend to be to thin around the bearing . who bloody knows . :D i say use what you can afford at the time .

If you are looking for auto parts, I can suggest you the best one I know and from where I make my purchases is www.hiperformer.com/automotive online web store where I had found my Chevy engine with cheapest price.

They also offer me some offers like 90 days money back and free delivery with one year warranty on engine I have purchased.

Buffalojoe426 04-30-2013 04:51 PM

I try the local Napa store first, then its on line to Rock Auto. Jegs and Summit, I like to compare and see who has the best prices. Classic Industries has a lot, but its kinda high. E bay has come through on a few occasions. If its something major I check them all and compare cost and shipping. If you look through some Mopar magazines you can find ads for all kind of stuff.

Summit hands down on engine and basic parts price wise for me. Been dealing with them for 20 years.. No problem they never would take care of.. Mancini if you need tech help or need to talk to a sales person that knows how to work on a mopar.. Could never stand jeggs tried them a couple of times and seemed to always pay to much or get raped on shipping.. Hate their catolog and website. My o2

I think I'm starting to lean toward summit as well. I have been placing more and more orders with them lately, they seem to be cheaper that Jegs.
