Camshaft Identification

I came across this camshaft during a cleanup session in one of our garages up at school. It was set to be thrown away, so I took it home with plans to try to make a camshaft lamp from it. I finally got time to clean it up and decided it would be cool to know what it came from. Using Summits site, I found it resembled that of a Mopar B/RB engine.

I was hoping to be a little more specific than that, so I came here. I wanted to know if the year could be narrowed down, as well as the engine size.

Down towards the distributor gear are 3 sets of numbers.

2402

722

E28? maybe E26

Up at the other end the 722 is repeated.

Thanks in Advance

well you can narrow it down the search to V8 motors with dizzys in the front [BB mopars, AMC V8s, don't know and don't care about F$%ds or C@#*ys (lol)].

I'm sure that someone on here could help you out. If not, I'd give summit racing's tech line a call and see if they can be of any help.

for the most part all parts numbers are stamped on the ass end of the cam post a pick of that so we can see the numbers and who knows

There is absolutely no writing on the back end

is there any colors on the cam?

Nope...just dark grey/black on everything but the lobes.
