Cylinder head ID
These heads are on a 318 block with 360 rotating assembly. One head has the folowing numbers under the valve cover: 5300 and 6671, also L8 and HN.
The other head: 5302 and 0466 also a circled 22 by 0466.
Outside valve cover by spark plug holes: 104 and FG on one head and looks like 8185 and FS.
Thanks for any help, I am looking for valve size, combustion chamber cc and original application. -- Chuck

318 Cylinder Head ID
Hey Chuck. I'm also new but I think I recognize the 5302 numbers on the heads.
I believe those were on 85-87 Mopar 318's and are known as the swirl port
heads. I think they had 1.88 and 1.60 valves. I may be wrong, but it sure
sounds like that's what those are.
Hope this helps.
Regards,Jon.

Thanks Jon - I have done extensive search on the web with no luck finding these casting numbers. The heads have the 10 bolt covers.
This engine was built by a good friend that recently died of Mesothelioma ------------if only I had asked more questions............
He had asked me to complete his car for him, a '91 Lebaron coupe converted to rear wheel drive. I was given the car and all the parts to complete by his wife and I want to finish it as a tribute to him. He was a died in the wool Mopar guy and I have always worked on Fords so I have lots of questions for the Mopar crowd. -- Chuck
