starting problem with a 74 charger 440

So i have this problem with my charger. since the beginning i have some problem to star my engine.. It's crank may for 10 sec before it's start.
But when the car is cold it's start perfect but when i stop the engine for 15 min to 1 hrs is became realy hard to start. I recently change the carb for a edelbrokk 750. It change nothig to my prob.

Did somebody have an idea?

How big was the carb before you changed it?

What modifications do you have that warranted a larger carb?

Did you replace the hoses when you replaced the carb?

Are all the fittings tight, do any of them expand when it gets hot interfering with the air fuel mixture?

What ignition setup do you have on that car ?

Hmmm...I don't know the answer yet but I have exactly the same problem on my 73 New Yorker, only occurs when hot, new carb, stock all new ignition system.

I've checked all the obvious stuff, reluctor gap is dead right, new plugs, wires....everything. I'm working through this one during the next few days, I'll post back with any amazing discoveries.

Ok, 2 more questions:

Did you replace the stock carb, with your new one?

So you did not replace the intake, did you put a 4 barrel carb, where a 2 barrel just was? Do they mount together properly?
