Electro magnetic pulse proff.
My brother and I have a small manufacturing shop.
we are in the market for a used dodge 2500hd 4x4 quad cab cummings
and are wondering how the fuel injection is triggerd is it done by the computer or is it a mechanicle controld system .
we need a bug.out/delivery truck that is not sensitive to EMP attack...
or "on star" type shut down. Or can they be retro converted to run with out the computer system?

iam NOT an electronics expert. but i have some in the family and have worked with them. there are two things to worry about. EMP and EMF. i dont know the diff. but experts say to guard against them the electronics, ie IC chips, boards, wiring, box. and the body and frame have to be designed against it. but making a cover for an all ready made machine could help. i have made such parts for for the B-52, B1-B, B-2 that have to be protected cause they carry, and drop "A" bombs. you might need a good electronics engineer expert.
