looking for stroker kit for 383

I'm looking for a stroker kit for my 383, anyone out there can recommend a company. I'm going to be using a tunnel ram with dual 500 or 600 cfm carbs. Also im going to be using production 906 heads with port and polish. and one size up on valves. I would like some advice for this build, i already know that tunnel rams run well at high rpms. I am sticking with a tunnel ram induction 2x4. So any advice pertaining to this build would greatly appreciated.

what kind of power do you want too make out of it? what is the motor going into and what is it being built for? you could do alot with a 383 me personally I've been looking into a 489 stroker for a fun street/drag motor build in my Dakota if you plan on going force induction strokers are great for spooling turbos quick

The stress of a blower drive/ turbo setup ? Get a steel crank !!! 440-451 what ever it works out to. Going to extremes 489??? Need external oil system. or get a 440 block.... Don't need oversized valves for a blower, if you want go oversized on exhaust. I would use a 500CFM carb maybe even a 450cfm Keep the compression 9/1 ??

idk about for the OP but for my truck im going too just go with a 383 instead of 440 due too actually fitting the motor in my truck and Ive built stroker and turbo motors this is just a drag truck build for me im not gonna be taking this truck on the street so if im gonna do it im gonna over do it... thus being why I asked what he plans on doing with his stroker

most likely i was going to get a stroker kit from muscle motors to either 451 or 459 I haven't decided yet. I've postponed my 383 build, because im building a stage 1 or 2 426 max wedge, for my 65 belvedere

well in my experience stroker motors are fun as hell but you just need to remember they wear down a lot faster then a typical stock build also stroker builds are really just for getting more *** down low for torque if you are looking for something too just get more HP out of in bang for you're buck scenario I would recommend a head and cam combo and forced induction its simple and will give you good numbers just my 2 cents
