/6 225 swap to 318

I am prepping to swap my 1975 /6 225 for a 318. The 318, 727 transmission, and rear end are out of a 72 Challenger.

Does any know if there is a difference in driveshaft length or will the one I have work? I was thinking that it may need to be shortened.

Thanks again

That's a good thought. I am going to stick with the factory rear end for now. It's not going to meant to race at all so I feel comfortable keeping it. I'm getting the motor, trans, and rear end for only $250 so what I don't need I should easily be able to sale.

What wheels? You might be able to run something like the 'Stang 17" Bullitt wheels on that rear. How wide is it?

Width

I'm not sure if the 72 Challenger rear end is actually wider. I have been researching but have come up empty. Although they are 14" stock wheels and not the most appealing, I would like to stick with as many original parts as possible. As far as I know, this is the ONLY 75 RUNNING 4-door Dart in the area. I would really like to get some police rims for it but I don't want to spend $400 on them...
