Mystery New Yorker Part
Alright Mopar sleuths,
I've been searching high and low for this part and I can't come up with it anywhere, and unfortunately it is keeping me from being able to drive my car too much because of fear of the driveline being damaged. The part numbers (or as close as I can figure them to be) are: 9-71-15 (Rubber Stop for rear mount) and this odd bolt with two built on washer part 9-71-18. Any and all hints, suggestions, or clues are appreciated. Meanwhile, I'll be digging through boxes at Mopar Nationals this August to try to find it. Thanks! |
I should also mention that it is a 1964 New Yorker with a 727 transmission and 413 motor

yes been there done that. if i remember right i used a large washer and sucked it down hard. i might have seen a after market mount made for that app. that fixes it. ill look for it. be back.

i found a mount that looks like a modded of the stock one, looks like its rubber insteed of that stupid spring. http://www.imperialservices.net/Cparts.html. 1962-1964 C-Body Transmission Mount

when you say 1964 new yorker. you dont need to say 413 engine. during the 50-60 all new yorkers and imperials all had the biggest engine for that year as standard.
