Question torque converter drain off?

2006 Dodge Ram Hemi. Does the torque converter drain off every time the vehicle sets idle a day or two? Seems like it is slipping for about 10 to 20 yards at initial takeoff. Then, does not do this throughout the day. Has been doing this for a long time. Does not get any better or worse. Is this normal?

Sounds like a plugged filter and time for new fluids before you roast the transmission.

I'm going to go down the other side of the road...
Start the truck... Put it in Neutral for about 60Sec and then put it in drive. if that makes the issue better, then the problem is the front transmission pump.
Not damaging... Just annoying...
