'78 D300 Brake Booster help needed!
I have a 1978 Dodge D300 Clubcab with a 440. I need to replace my power brake booster and master cylinder. I can find master cylinders all day long, but cannot find a rebuilt booster. Rockauto has exactly what I need under Part # 503122, but it is an obsolete part #. Rockauto lists the booster only under Part # as 5473122. It too seems to be obsolete.
Any suggestions on where I can get a direct-fit replacement booster? I see NOS ones on eBay, but they're $400. That's way over my budget. Any assistance would be very appreciated!! https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/moparfo...ab50a0623a.jpg |

Nice truck... Welcome to the site... |
Thanks for the link. I’ve tried NAPA, Auto Zone, Advance Auto, O’Riley, and the local parts places. They all list it, but when I try to order it they say it is out of stock and unavailable.
I can’t be the first guy to need a replacement in the recent past, so I’m hoping that someone can offer a suggestion or solution. |
Have your local parts house ship it out for overhauling in that case..... A1 Cardone comes to mind.

I guess that might have to be my only option. I just can't believe that I'm the only one to have faced this issue.
