A body disc upgrade

I am trying to put front discs with the larger 5 on 4 1/2 bolt circle on my 72 Duster. The car was originally a 6 cyl car. It came with disc brakes stock, but they are 5 on 4 in bolt circle bolt circle. I purchased rotors from a V8 car, but they are too thick for my calipers. Will V8 spindles and calipers solve my problem? Are there any other options?
