Brake issues

I have a 69 charger 383 with 4 wheel drum brakes.
I have very little pedal, I've added a vacuum canister ( no help) my booster and master cylinder seem original (probably booster is). I was wondering if changing the master cylinder only will help or replacing the booster also to give me more of a pedal.

Make sure the breaks are adjusted front and rear.

i would swap out both MC and booster. brakes is something ya don't wanna mess with and while yer in there, you may as well. Not a fun job, but...

Update on booster.

I have 3 questions
1st on the master cylinder does the screw and small plate n the mounting side stay on ?
2n is there a gasket between master cylinder and booster?
Sounds silly I know but it's been awhile since I took them off
