Question Lowering

When lowering a 87 D150 with the van lower control arms are they using 1/2 ton van arms

Everything I read just said van lower control arm

I'm not sure but I believe 1/2 and 3/4 are the same, one ton are different.

The conversion vans were called 3/4 but just had heavy duty springs. At least the one I had was.
