so the junction block on the firewall on drivers side is giving me some issues. theres the red wire that goes to a link then wire on other side of link is blue. when i jiggle those wires the power comes back on. do i replace the whole block or what? just started acting up the other day and was driving down the road and it died. thats when i jiggled wires on that block and power came back.

Can you post a photo? This sounds like your starter relay?

i can post pictures tomorrow. it is on drivers side of firewall. its right under voltage regulator

yeah it was a fried connection in the firewall junction block....easy fix once we figured it out thanks everyone

This sounds suspiciously like the bulkhead connector. PLEASE at least read this article:

Even if you don't do this bypass project, it points up the pitfalls and weakness of the Mopar bulkhead connector. All these old girls are ......well...... getting old.

I would personally suggest this is a good idea to do. Takes a bit of time but worth it in the end.
