HELP: 1970 challenger radio removal

I am wanting to take out the aftermarket radio and install the vintage look a like radio. Can anyone help me with the correct process?

Welcome aboard.

Not sure what you're asking.

First disconnect the battery!

Then disconnect the wires (power, antenna, speakers, etc - and if you're forgetful like me, mark everything). Figure out what kind of bracket they used and hope they didn't destroy any of the original bracketry in the process.

Remove all the new stuff and figure out what you're going to need to mount the original look alike.

Yeah, you might have to be inverted to get a good look.

Hopefully they didn't carve up too much to get it in.
