help identify NOS switches
 

Hey guys
I was wondering if someone could help me with some parts I have. At an auction I ended up with three switches, I've googled them but one of them seems to be disputed. I don't want to sell someone something that is wrong for their car but I also don't want to just put the part number up because I think that would hurt sales. I sell on eBay under the ID indianfield and these will be listed late Tuesday night (dec 6) 10PM eastern time if anyone is interested. (I hope it's ok for me to say that).
Also is there a book or CD that I could buy to help me in the future to ID Mopar parts? Something where I could look up a part number and have a list of what it fits or is that just a dream?
Anyway THANK YOU for your help, this is all I do since I lost my job last year, not much but it pays the bills and it's FUN!


# 2820423 is called a "switch for the convertible top operation on all 1967 and 1968 Plymouth Sport Fury, III, Dodge Polara, 500, Chrysler Newport and 300." by a guy on eBay but then another guy says it is "a tailgate power window dash switch for 1967 Town & Country wagon. Was it used in all these applications or is one of these guys wrong?

I also have:
# 2947763 someone states it is for " head light rocker switch for 1969 & 1971 C-body vehicles; Fury, Polara, Monaco, Chrysler and 1970 B-body vehicles without rallye dash; Belvedere, Coronet, Satellite etc. Also fits some Dodge trucks and Motor Homes. This has the silver knob. Replaces 2864437, 2864466." Is that correct?

#3420925 someone states this is for 67-70 Plymouth Fury, Sport Fury, VIP, Dodge Polara, Monaco, Chrysler 300, Newport, New Yorker & Town and Country. is that correct?

...at the risk of getting something thrown at me - do you (or anyone) know of any such part number searches for Pontiac, Ford, GMC (ect)? I have a box of parts to sell and I would like a better source than Google to look them up.
These switches just seemed to be the most valuable.

Paul, Try any Ford and GM forums, I'm sure they might have a parts database like the Mymopar forum. john

That's a good idea John, the sad thing is that I passed on BOXES of these parts because I didn't want the clutter... I'm such a fool!

I'd post a photo of my dad back in the day and his Plymouth Satellite but I don't know where it is. ;)

Try this if you have a part number remember that Mopar numbers are seven digits.
Go to partvoice and try imputting the numbers in there with different manufactures picked. Maybe you will get lucky.
