Dynasty Wire Hubcaps Fall Off
I recently got a set of the 1990 Dodge wire wheel hubcaps for my Dynasty, as I thought these were the original ones that were on the car and they looked really nice. I cannot get them to stay on the wheels, however. The rear ones fall off, which causes quite a bit of concern and I don't drive the car because of it. How were these supposed to be fastened on to the wheels? They obviously don't simply get pressed on because they're too easy to take off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anybody have any ideas? They seem to stay on the front wheels, but the rear ones fall off.

JR,.... Look on the inside of the wheel cover... In the middle... if there is a hole.. that is where a retaining screw goes to hold the cover on. the otter emblem pops out to get to the retainer screw... What you might also be missing is the trainer that bolts to the wheel via the lug nuts....
Might look something like this: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/1992-93-94-95...item419dc292e2 |
Okay, I see. I do not have those anywhere. I'll have to buy them. But then how do I use them to attach the wheel cover? Where to they go and what fastens to what on the wheel?

If its the type that i described.... one of two ways.... Lug nuts hold the retainer on or some screws hold them to the wheel...

Alright great. And how do the wheel covers then fasten to the retainer? Or how do they screw on to the wheel?

Lug nuts or the OEM wheels are pre drilled for the attachment screws.... |
