sweet ride!! 78D200 has a great stickie here explaining how to upload pics via photobucket, etc.....I think you can just type "uploading pictures" under the search bar at top and click on thread that says "uploading pictures" then click on the highlighted "here" link under MR340 post and it will take you there.. Have fun with the boy working on that beast...He/you will remember that the rest of his/your days...Good times!!

Hello all it been a few . Got a new project here 70 cuda we have been in the removal of all bad none repairable metal (at our skill level) and patching the savable stuff . We patched in some inner fire wall . On the rotisserie its so much nicer to work up rite with no sparks falling on you also patched some of the cross member it had some small thin spots. We are thinking about removing the upper cowl and replacing it due to some rough spots looks to be a doable replacement what do you think ? Hopefully get some advice here when we stuck or you see some thing that may need some attention Attachment 9618 thanks guys

I can feel your pain... lol
My question would be? Are you trying to recreate the firewall? Or just going with the smooth look?
I cant say that I have replaced a firewall in a Street Car for full functioning hardwear... But if you do this deal.... I'm glued to the screen !!!!

Thanks . & yes that is the plan . As you may know these cowls are two piece units we plan on removing the top section as its to much for our skill level to patch and make it look nice . Amd has one for $400 +_ I think it will work out best . I'm sure it will take some feness to get the old one out but we will be attempting it this weekend . This is the only way we can make sure if he gets stuck out in a rain shower he feet won't get wet in the car :puke:.
