looking for early 60's 4-speed

I'm looking for an early 60's 4 speed that will bolt up to a 413...I currently have a 727 but would prefer the 4-speed...up for trading the 727 for a good 4-speed tranny

You need a hemi 4 speed or an aftermarket 5 speed (My Choice but more expensive)

I could be wrong. But I believe the (Hemi) trans is 18 Splines.. Not sure if the later model is.. You can get a fully rebuilt Hemi 4 speed for $1200 online. Plus shipping. And they are readily available. I am assuming I am preaching to the choir when I say the Bell housing/Input collar/ Clutch assembly / All has to match as well??? If you need a link to the trans site. Let me know.. Happy trails.

Why do "we" "need" a hemi 4 speed? What is the power level of this 413? A "standard" 833 will absorb a lot of HP and are much cheaper and more available

What body is this going in? IE you want an A body gearbox, or long shaft? Also, are you going to use the old bolt up flange driveshaft? Now would be a good time to "go" slip yoke, which I think changed either 65 or 66 (My 64 was flange drive)
