1983 Plymouth Scamp
And don't forget the "Plymouth" badge! Those 2 plastic nameplate's make it a completely different vehicle! 😁👌. Nah, all bullshit aside, what makes the Scamp more sought after is the fact that they only produced very little for the '83 year model only. Rampage's were '82-'84. Plus, if memory serves me well mine is a 11/82 model (one of the first ones). Not 100%. Need to look at the door again. All hell, I'm sure ya'll already know all of that though. After all, this is a forum for mopar nuts right? Might I add that I have always been into the '84-'90 Caravans, Voyager, Mini Ram Vans. Have owned about 10 of 'em throughout the years. 3 turbos (all automatics unfortunately) and (2) 5 speeds, (1) of which was an '87 Mini Ram Van (very rare down here in TX). The remaining 5 were a combination of 2.2's and the 2.6 Mitsubishi. I had purchased one of the turbos in Lockhart from Kirk Jackson Dodge. Was trade in back in '91 with 60k miles and sat behind the shop until I bought it. Not sure if ya'll folks are aware of it, but this is the same dealership a few years back that sold off them "brand new old cars" to some collector. Guy had brand new shit from the 80's that never sold! Never to titled or driven on public roads. Had an '84 Mini Ram Mark III conversion with like 30 miles on it? Also had a Daytona with like 13 miles if I remember it correctly. Also had a colt vista, a lancer turbo, full size ram Van and some other stuff. I got to see that shit when it was there!!! Was beautiful! Even offered me a payment deal on that brand spankin new '84 Mini Ram Van!!! Should have took it, but didn't have the $$$. Oh yeah, he also had quite a few of them 024 omni's amd TC3's. There all gone though now.......(think he junked most of those......)
