Haynes Repair Manual for '66 Dart??
Hi there
I've checked Amazon and at Haynes website - they only have manuals for '67 to '72 Darts. Im wondering if its worth buying? and how much does the '66 differ from the '67 model? Im new with Mopar obviously but I do have some mechanical knowledge on restoring some other classic cars like Alfa Romeo GTVs etc. Should I just buy the '67 Dart Haynes manual? Any other alternatives? Cheers Syed Malaysia |
well the 1967 dodge dart is a completely new body style all the enginge componets and wiring should be the same but not sure

I wouldn't recommend Haynes. I would recommend a factory service manual.

yeah I use Haynes manual but not all repair solutions is in there. I saw this site for how to's and DIY's job online they have specific auto repair manuals that I could really use in case it's not not my manual. and they have videos to.

Actually, you don't need to buy anything. You can download a complete factory service manual here:
http://www.mymopar.com/index.php Direct link: (Actually a Plymouth manual, but few differences mechanically electrically. http://www.mymopar.com/downloads/ser...ice_Manual.zip You asked the difference: 66 Darts were in the "early" group, 63 - 66. I believe the 62 was more of a B body. 67-69 are a "group" of similar, and 70 and later was the next change. |
