someone got to the car before me. In future regards would someone be able to tell me the year ranges in which I can find similar parts for my vechicle , if to complex because alot of things interchange differently can someone direct me towards where I can find the information myself?

Other than trim, there's probably very little that will NOT interchange. There might be some changes in wiring between the two. Are they both "disk brake" cars?

What about engines? If yours is a six and the donor a V8, that will provide your V8 K member.

Ok update,

going to look at this bad ride next week.

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/cto/4538921633.html

360 engine 727 trans, guy has pink slip everything etc....

Just talked to him and it caught on fire cause a fuel leak....

For 900 dollars I'm interested, what does anyone else think. Does the car have potential structural damage from engine fire.

Would it be a possibility that i could just switch my engine and tranny into this car? along with other parts from my car, instead of chopping up its roof and trying to get mine back in order??

Offer $500 LOTS OF WORK NEEDED figure the engine is probably shot from fire chemicals. Yes you can swap parts fenders/hood will probably need to be replaced, wiring, windshield IT is good for a parts car... I repaired a Ply Horizon once that had an engine fire. You need a parts car to do it...SO many little things need replacement
I would have to see both cars to make a decision. I would lean towards cutting the roof off and using it to fix yours

Ok i will look into both. I am more interested in the 73 that caught on fire because I have been looking for a 360 engine to rebuild anyways, it also has some nice rims on it.

Do you think that the unibody or roof could be damaged because of the fire? (in terms of structure)

My car has a 318/904 in it. It was previously hit on the back driverside quarter panel. Previous owner loved bondo... Going to need substantial bodywork anyways... Planning on new interior and going through the car ground up mostly... So little part replacement isn't a huge deal. Guy is 2 hours away though so I want to see my options before making the drive.
