I fabricated my K-frame
I know, its blurry. But you can see what was done.
The reason for this is with putting the big block in, the 402 pan hit partly on the K-frame lip. Plus, It'd be a PITA If i ever had to pull the engine out. Can't pull it back because it'd hit on the K-frame. SO with the cutting, it will make it easier to pull the engine out if ever needed. Plus I just thought it'd be something cool. A buddy of mine did the cutting and welding. I did the cleaning and painted. He welds for a living and is very good. What do ya think? http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i2...ictures294.jpg |
nice job
you didn't even scratch up the sides, from what I can see:D what are you gonna do with the 426? |
Thats cause I painted it up.
I used a primer paint, then some black paint. The wedge is going into the Dart. funny, it's a 66 Chrysler replacement block. Worth quite a bit of money. |
good luck with it:D

Haha. Thanks.
I painted the pan to see what the color i bought would come out like: http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i2...ictures296.jpg |
