Howdy!! I need help to identify my leaf springs. 1 spring has 5 leaf and the other has 6 leaf.Number on spring is 3400081. I would like to use these springs in a 1971 340 Demon. Are they to big or to heavy? Looking re-buliding kits.
Thanks! ![]() |

have you measured them to see if they will work? cuz a-body leaf springs have a shorter front segment.

sounds like someone may have put a set of super stock springs in it. I thought the stock setup had an even number of leaves.

leaf springs
I just purchased a 72 dart that has two 3400081 leaf springs installed, but front hangers and rear shackles are modified. So the 3400081 might work for you. But I have another question: Aren't different springs used on each side? I thought a heavier spring was used on the passerenger side, but mine has same springs. Car previously ran 12.2's so can't be too wrong.
