mopar 73 dodge dart swinger
I bought this swinger a lil while ago and want to restore it along with beefing it up with a 383. Right now it has the original slant 6. Andthis is my first project car. We all gotta start somewhere right? Any help on where I can find leads for upgrades such as tranny that will handle that engine, axel shifters pretty much where to look for everything? And also if there is anything I should know about common problems with the car in general. Thanks much. I've been told its hard to find dodge parts.

TCI trannies are really nice. You could always buy a BB tranny and rebuild it. You'll need V8 torsion bars, a larger radiator, and either a 8 3/4 or D60 rear axle. It all depends on how much you build the 383.

it takes ALOT of work to fit a big block into and Abody check out Schumacher Creative Services for some help just make sure u tie ur frame up so u dont snap that Abody uni frame in half
