Well it has been awhile since I did any work on the old car, I am not a body man so I had a couple of body men stop by and give me a quote. The prices that these boys gave me blew me out of the water.Well glad to say I saved my mony and am now getting the body work done. THis is what I saw yeasterday.

Here are the pics of the progress that I have made in the last few weeks. Thursday I shoveled the snow pile from in front of the door so I could push the car out to get pictures.

Well this past weekend I replaced the upper ball joint on the left side, it was a chore, the car is pushed to that side of the garage so I have a path on the right to my work bench. That is the fun of building a car in a one car garage.

I noticed that I did not plan my time out to do the front end and waiting for the tie rod ends slowed the work down. But it is done and here it is

It has been awhile since I was here, but I picked up this 383 with 68000 miles on the clock and gave it an aerosol over hall. Now to add 4 barrel chrome valve covers and air cleaner for the dress up. Now to get pounding away at it again it is almost summer.

Why would I want to do something like that, IT is like opening a can of worms, next it is cam, lifters and AC water pump.
My 62 I did the same thing to and it has been in the car for close to ten years, and I beet on that little stock 400 quite often and haven't had any meager break downs

Well last weekend was nice and sunny so I got the wife and daughter out to the garage to help push the car around so I can get the engine in the car, But with the cold weather it has been hard to get into that non-heated garage.
