well bring on the gremlins .....

well i was let down by the dart today vicious electrical kind i did manage to narrow it down though its between the bulkhead connector and the the main plug cluster on the rallye gauges my alt gauge is not showing it charging it made a short sound this morning while leaving for work luckily i was less than a mile from home so i grabbed the van and finished my day when i got back home i tinkered with it a bit when i started it i reached under the dash where i heard that noise earlier that morning and wiggled the harness around abit it did want to start charging it was spuratic then quit messed around with it some more then nothing it was dead no start at all so i decided to jump it off the relay and play around with it some more i then noticed that my starter relay was loose around the rivets that secure it to the mounting bracket this should be tight right ? for a good ground anyways i wedged a screwdriver between it and jumped it off it started then i shut it off and tried to start it by the key and it did did i wiggle them wires that damn hard to loosen the relay? so to sum it up has anyone ever had this situation before i did clean the connections on the bulkhead about 2 weeks ago im gonna do a current test on the wires from the bulkhead to the plug that goes to the gauges and alt gauge on the rallye dash if anyone else has any other ideas that they ran across before let me know for i will be runnin through wires all weekend long and fixin the van due to bad gas but atleast it still runs ,.....sput,putter,putter

loose connection in the bulkhead removed each wire and squeezed the ends together on the female spade to tighten it up
