Thanks everyone for the kind words. We try to make all our fabrication work as nice and functional as possible. I'll be glad to share anything we have done or help anyone with their project as for as part numbers or thing we have had to fabricate. Just leave me your number or we can text on here if you like. We will have the car at the Springfield MO. NSRA show in May. Thanks Again.

Here I'll show how we ran the radiator hoses top and bottom using parts from O'Reilly's auto parts. Just a note about O'Reilly's we have a great bunch of guys who like to help anyone with old or new hot rods. They came out to our shop and measured for the hoses and went back to the store and looked at hoses they had in stock to see if anything would fit. We used a top hose off of a 2011 Dodge truck, (Gates Belts) cut it in half (will have to trim some out of the middle for better fit)and inserted the filler neck from summit racing, part #SME-2201. On the bottom hose we used a bottom hose from a 2011 Dodge truck (Gates 21271) from the water pump and a bottom hose from a 2012 Dodge Charger (Gates 22941) from the radiator routed under the crank pulley. Cut both the ends off both hoses and add a copper plumbing reducer 1-7/8 to 1-3/4 this will connect both hoses together.

The Dart had no sway bars so I elected to install the Addco-150 from Summit Racing. Installation was straight forward and everything bolted together. I'm not sure at this time what I'll do to the rear.

If you are using a after market wiring harness (Street & Performance, Hot Wired, etc.) you will need to purchase a late model brake adjustment switch from Dodge or check with who you purchased the Harness from, they may offer one as well. I used one from Dodge for a 2009-2012 Dodge Ram 1500. The 68 Dart switch has only two wires and the new harness has six wires. The new switch will allow you to communicate with the computer, have a hot wire, ground, neutral safety and allow you to press the brake before the car will start. On a 2009 -2012 Dodge Ram 1500 there is a bracket on the steering column you will need to get so you can weld to the old 68 Dart Bracket. The late model switch needs the new bracket due to the new switch having a square mounting area and the Dart having a round mounting area, also the new switch had two bracket to mount to the Ram where the dart uses the brake pedal as contact for the switch. The pictures will show where we had to weld the two brackets together, make sure to use the same mounting holes in the Dart some trimming will be required before final assy. Be careful with the new switch because when the plunger is depressed it can not be readjusted. the original mounting hole on the Dart has some adjustment when you bolt the new switch in.

look at the date of the post it’s from eight years ago the guy hasn’t been here for seven years so he’s probably not going to see your post.
