1965 Dodge Coronet 426 Max Wedge Ebay

Hey everyone I found a 1965 Dodge Coronet 426 Max Wedge car on ebay. I have a question about it as its bouncing around my head screaming NO.

Did the 65 really come with the 426 max wedge motor?

I thought they all would have been 426 Hemi in 1965 not Max Wedge motors. I was thinking that 63-64s where the last year of the Max Wedge cars.

This is also a 4spd car and man if I had the money and if I really knew this was a real Max Wedge car I would bid right now.

Well educate me (man this stroke) as my memory on cars is just not there now.

62 was the first Max Wedge, and 64 was the last.

x2 on polara dude, the made 3 stages, the stage 1 was 62, at 12.5-1 comp. then stage 2 in 63 with 13.25 -1 comp. and bigger carbs, then stage 3 in 64 with bigger cam, and again bigger carbs. 64 started the race hemi program, then it went dull hemi in 65 due to the performance gains, so the maxie went the way of the dodo. then 66 you could get a street version of the hemi.for 62-3 you couldnt get a 4 spd for the maxi, it was auto or 3 spd manual, the t-10`s kept breaking so they couldnt use them, then in 64 they offered the 4spd. but it was a chry-co trans not t-10, I.E. the birth of the 833 new process manual trans.ive never seen any 4 spd maxies for 62-3 anyway, if they did make 1 I havent seen it.

I have a 65 coronet 500 with a 426 wedge and a 4 speed. Very rare car! Only 729 built . It's a one owner with 60000 miles . If the price is right , I would jump on it
