1966 Belvedere 2 engine swap?

Hello all i am new to the forum and I have recently purchased a 66 belvedere 2 with no motor or tranny. The guy I bought it from said it previously had a 440 in it. I have located a 440 engine and tranny in a motorhome.I was wandering if this is a good match.I am not sure if there is any differences in motorhome engine and trannys than standard ones. Thanks for the help in advance,
Barry

The motor should bolt right in and I'm guessing it's a 727 tranny so u shouldn't have any problems there as long as its all good.

UHHHHH NOPE!!
The 440 motor home tranny is different because it is a BOLT on yoke and a car is a slip on yoke.
Depending on the year of the engine...say 73 and up, it's a dog with smog equipment and low compression.
Hope you didn't buy the project tranny that won't work...
