Hey guys, i have just purchased a 67 Charger, and it is has a snakeskin looking top. The seller told me the top was all original. I could have reason to believe this because of the double seams that look untouched. I have talked to many people in the vinyl top and interior business and no one can figure out what this kind of top is!! if anyone could please help it has many companies stumped!!!!

Sure looks like some form of a mod top, but I do not think they did those in 67, only 69 and 70 that I am aware of. Truly strange.

wernt mod tops floral or paisley? maby just someone wanted to be different and hired a good "seamstress"

That's a "lace" pattern, lace paint jobs were the hot thing back then. It looks like somebody did one on a vinly top. I did a search for "lace vinyl top" some interesting things came up, none had a thing to do with cars.

thanks, but its not painted on it, its dyed in the top, looks to me like some sort of snakeskin design.. any ideas?

My buddy had this exact car since he was like 15 and sold it around the yr you bought this car. Can u tell me where u bought it . I swear it's the same car
