1967 Plymouth Belvedere Convertible 440 4 Speed?
I am a salesman. We have a 1967 Plymouth Belvedere Convertible (nice 5 year old restoration) with a 440 and a 4 speed. I "assumed" that the 440 & 4 speed was installed upon restoration. However, the engine code is "0" which does not match any reference I can find. I also rolled back the carpet to see if the 4 speed tunnel platform was a later add. If it was, they did a damn good job of it! My owner says it was represented to him as a year end morphodite car, or possibly a special order. Hood emblem says 383. However, since the 440 was not an option for the Belvedere...
VIN: RH27077237950 Anyway, I am skeptical. Would like to hear your opinions. Here is a link to a short video with pics of the car: |
Never mind. I figured this out. VIN was recorded incorrectly. It was a "D" engine (273 V8) originally.
Still for sale though! |
Aha! Glad you got to the bottom of it. :)

1967 Belvedere 2 Convertible
Russ,
Do you still have the 67 Belvedere? If not would you happen to know where to start looking? I am looking for a 1967 V-8 G-383 4 speed on the floor Belvedere II Convertible Blue in color to be specific, however I know they are rare and anything that I can come really close I would be happy with. Thanks for your time Matt PS this car is a surprise for my dad's 70th birthday |
