1973 Dodge Charger parts
Hey, for the last 3 years my dad and i have been restoring a 1973 dodge charger because he said hed buy me any muscle car i wanted if i passed my permit test. well last week i graduated from high school and as i was leaving school i got rear ended by a retard that wasnt paying attention. long story short the car is pretty much totaled even though i still drove it home and his car was done. the reason im writing this form is because im having a very hard time finding body parts for it. i need front and rear bumpers along with the plastic grill inserts, new drivers side fender and drivers quarter. if anyone can lead me in the right direction or if you have parts for sale it would help out a lot. i will attach some pictures of the car so you can all see what happens when you tail gate a beautiful car.

Like TV said, a good body shop can fix it, but you'll still need parts and the might be cheaper if you locate then. The high $$ places like Year One may help, but are npt real big into Mopars. Don't forget eBay. A lot of places use eBay as an outlet. Still won't be cheap, but the parts might be there.
Based on your pictures, another eBay option would be donor car. Basically a non-running, relatively straight and rust free body.
BTW - might want to make sure the "frame" is straight. How fast was that guy going, there's a lot of damage there.

thanks guys. and it will need to be put on the frame rack because what you don't see is that the frame got bent up into the truck and gave the hole thing a twist. the passenger door barley closes but for the most part thats the main thing to get fix. but its not happening this month because im Minnesota's skills state champ at automotive technologies and im leaving next week for kansas city for nationals i just hope by the time i get back the cars gone and getting straightened
and on a lighter note the drivers door hinges are shot and was sagging a little bit but after the accident the body body lines are a lot closer together than they were HAHAHA

Damn what a shame... good looking car (or was) and as was previously posted it CAN be again, with enough time effort and of course some money.... Then again take a look @ this that happened to a 68 here in my town... (its the news story) http://amarillo.com/news/local-news/...ernoon-traffic

Its YOUR car, and if it will swap why not? Have you had it to the frame shop for estimates yet? Might want to wait on buying pretties until the grunt work is done...IE frame/quarters/tail panel etc.... Cuz I have a feeling getting it back to where it was isnt going to come exactly cheap... M2C..
