2 to 4 barrel linkage problem
 

hey guys, i made the 2 to 4 barrel conversion and like everyone else my throttle cable and kick down linkage wont line up. anybody got any photos of how they made it work or is there a cheap bracket to buy.

i dont have any photos of mine but all i did was use the stock 2bbl throttle bracket and put a cruise control piece on it and clamp the throttle cable to the cruise control bracket. the kickdown linkage i just cut and put a piece of aluminum arrow over to lengthen it. sounds ghetto but it works lol. ill try and get pics of my setup later today when it stops pouring.

i kind of understand how you did it, but if you get some phots later that would be great!

Lokar makes life simple with a kit just for this. Used it myself and i love it. Looks great and replaces the entire assembly with beautiful new hardware.

HOW MUCH DID THAT SET UP RUN YOU?

I dont remember, but it was reasonable. You can see the part #'s in the pic, just contact Jegs or Summit and ask.
