26 inch radiator

26 inch radiator
Does anyone know if a 26 inch radiator will bolt to a 22 inch core support on a 69 B body? I know the opening is only 22 inches for airflow but would the extra capacity of the 26 inch radiator help?

Im sure the supports on the drivers side stay the same like my 72-Satellite- and drill new hols on passenger and yes it does stay centered to the engine-
I think the 26" rad does help for airflow-
