66 charger?

hey there i have a 66 charger and i was wondering if it would be best to keep it stock or if i should modify it a bit i want to do mods to the engine i cant remember what size it is i know its not a 318 because its not a manual transmission so ya was just wondering if i do a restomod on it would it reduce value or even just modding the engine. it is in mint shape on the inside not even a rip in the seat only got 55k miles on it and its got AC power windows and all.

I would leave it alone they are not as popular as the 68-70 chargers therefor the value is not great but an original [survivor?] car is worth more than a modified one in a collectors eyes. But it's your automobile do with it what you wish just don't throw away anything you remove from it that it came with so if you ever wish to sell it you can return it orignial or send the parts with it.

As far as I've seen they are worth more for that reason, they dident have as many sales so they are getting rare

Is he distributor in the front or rear of the engine. I remember driving a 68? Satellite convertible Had a 318 and a column mounted 3 speed stick. You could get almost any combo on a special order
